    Abstract: 恆定包絡(Constant Envelope, CE)預編碼技術為近幾年針對巨量天線系統所發展出的傳送方案。相比於過去的傳送技術,例如最大比傳送(Maximum Ratio Transmission, MRT)方案,MRT訊號為非恆定包絡訊號且由通道條件及發送訊號源決定,使得各天線發射功率範圍區間大,而產生高的峰均功率比值(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio, PAPR)。為此,傳送端需配置線性區間大之功率放大器以對抗高PAPR,這將導致此大型陣列天線系統在硬體實作上難度增加、能量效率低弱。基於上述問題衍生出恆定包絡預編碼演技術,CE演算法限制每根發射天線之發射功率為常數,各天線皆傳送恆定包絡(CE)訊號,而符元(Symbol)訊息由相位攜帶,接收端將各經過通道之傳送訊號做向量合成後,可得與發射端相應之星座點。相比於非CE訊號,各CE訊號在各天線發射功率固定,因此PAPR值大大降低,亦降低射頻功率放大器實作成本。如何設計各CE訊號相位將於本篇論文核心內容中作詳細討論。本論文考慮多用戶多重輸入單輸出多播通訊系統,並以降低平均符元錯誤率(Symbol Error Rate, SER)為目的,推論出一最佳化問題,針對此最佳化問題提出一新CE預編碼演算法設計,相比已知CE演算法,在SER效能上僅存在極小差距(例如,本篇提出之演算法在SER=$10^{-4}$時,只多0.13dB的SNR損耗),而在計算複雜度卻大幅降低。
    Constant Envelope (CE) precoding is a recently developed transmission scheme for large antenna array systems. In contrast to traditional transmission techniques, such as the Maximum Ratio Transmission (MRT), CE precoding results in lower peak-average-power-ratio (PAPR), and achieves higher power efficiency.In this thesis, we investigate the CE precoding technique for multi-user multicast multiple-input-single-output (MISO) systems. An iterative algorithm is derived to solve the formulated non-convex problem. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is computationally more efficient compared to the existing semidefinite-relaxation (SDR) based CE precoding schemes.
